Cute Duck Drawing Step By Step
In this tutorial, we’ll teach you a rubber duck drawing. It would be best if you watched the video tutorial of this drawing to understand each step with more ease.
Step 1:
We will start our drawing with a pencil. First, draw a circle. Then draw two small circles on the right and left sides so that the big circle passes through both of them—figure 1.
Step 2:
After sketching the duck’s face with three circles in step 1, draw the face with the big circle. Use two small circles on both sides to make the cheeks of a happy duck. Draw a beak. Do this by drawing two parallel lines in the form of a tilted v below and two bending curves above. On the right side, draw two v-shaped bends to represent hair and two v-shaped bends on the head for the same purpose—Figure 2.
Step 3:
After completing the head in step 2, draw its neck in the shape of a vase. Join this neck on an oval shape that is tilted rightward. Next, draw a small circle inside that oval shape. Now you have a duck with a head and its body—Figure 3.
Step 4:
After completing the head and body outlining of the duck, draw wings. From below the small circle inside the oval shape, draw an upward going curve. Start another line from the top of the small circle and move it downward, then bend it upward parallel to the below curve. Draw three v-shaped bends at the end of it to represent wings. Next, draw a v-shaped bend outside the oval shape just above the wings drawn from inside the body. Draw wings on it just like you did before with v-shaped bends—Figure 4.
Step 5:
After completing the body structure of the duck, draw two big eyes of the duck. Do this by drawing two semi-circles above the beak on the right and left. Next, draw one filled circle inside each eye to represent eyeballs. Next, draw three eyelashes on both eyes, pointing a bit upward in the form of three parallel lines. Then draw eyebrows above each eye. Finally, draw hair-like textures on the left side of the body just like you did in the head—Figure 5.
Step 6:
As we have completed the body of the duck with its features. Draw two bends joining each other in the form of the tongue inside the beak. Next, draw another set of wings inside the previously drawn wings with the same technique. Now it’s time to highlight and enhance the features. Do it by applying a marker to the outline. You can also do it with the help of a bit of pressure on a pencil—Figure 6.
Step 7:
Once you are done highlighting the outline of the duck, draw two parallel horizontal curves on the neck. Now completely highlight the outline of the whole duck—Figure 7.
Step 8:
Now, it’s time to fill the colors in the duck. First, use green color in the head and the neck of the duck—Figure 8.\
