The spotted coats on a cheetah provide him a natural camouflage that helps hide in plain sight and attack prey while vulnerable. Cheetahs have naturally sharp visions, so they tend to sit on top of a tree or hill to spot prey from far distances. After catching, cheetahs eat their prey’s meat to avoid disputes with a much stronger predator like a lion or leopard.

Step by Step Tutorial Of How to Draw a Cheetah

Step 1:
Draw a circle first. Erase two small parts from the top of the circle and draw u-shaped curves to make ears. Make its mouth and nose by drawing two half-oval shapes at the bottom of the face. Then draw two eyes that align with the lines of the mouth.
Step 2:
Draw a line horizontally in the curvy shape to make the cheetah’s back. Bend the line downwards at the end. Below its mouth, start a line and take it downwards to make its front leg. Make a line that is parallel to the first line that will go closer to the first line while going downwards. In the end, bend both lines towards the front and join both lines with a U-shaped curve, making small curves to represent the foot.
Step 3:
Extend the inner line of the front leg upwards and curve it inside. At the middle of this line, draw a small horizontal curvy line. Then draw a perpendicular curvy line to represent the rear leg. Draw small curves to make the rear foot.
Step 4:
Make an inverted V by drawing a line with the inner line of the first leg. Draw a parallel line to make it look like the second front leg and draw small curves at the end to make its foot. Now draw a curvy line to make it look like the rear leg, which keeps getting closer to the other line of the leg. Draw second rear leg just like the other. Draw a curvy tail with the same technique.
Step 5:
Draw different types of spots in the form of shapes all over the cheetah’s complete body.
Step6:
Fill in the spots drawn all over the body.
Step 7:
Add shades all over the body with a light scrubbing. Congratulations. You just drew a cheetah.
