Simple Fish Drawing Tutorial | Step by Step
Step 1:
Draw a long oval shape horizontally. This oval shape will represent the body of the Fish—Figure 1.
Step 2:
After the horizontal long oval shape, draw a fin at the body’s tail on the right side—Figure 2.
Step 3:
Draw a fork-shaped tail fin on the right side of the body. Draw a pouting mouth in the shape of a small wide fork on the left side of the body—Figure 3.
Step 4:
Draw a dorsal fin on the upper side and a pelvic fin below the fish body irregularly. Draw two circles, one small in the big one, to represent an eye, and then Draw a curve behind the eye starting from above and ending below to separate the body from the head—Figure 4.
Step 5:
Draw one line inside the lower fin and two lines in the upper fin. Draw another small anal fin below on the right side of the first fin, and then Draw another small fork shape in the tail fin on the right side—Figure 5.
Step 6:
Use light blue and dark blue colors to fill in the fish, just like shown in figure 6.
Congratulation. You have learned a beginner’s fish drawing.
Draw a big circle on the right side and a big caudal tail fin on the left side of it—Figure 1.
Step 2:
Draw a curve starting from the top and touching inside the circle to separate the head from the body. Draw two circles inside each other to represent an eye—Figure 2.
Step 3:
Draw a dorsal fin above and a pelvic fin below in the shape shown in figure 3. Draw a pouting mouth on the right side of the head—Figure 3.
Step 4:
Draw lines in the dorsal, pelvic and caudal fin as shown in figure 4.

Use purple and dark blue colors in the fish, as shown in figure 5.
Cute Fish Drawing | Step By Step
Step 1:
Draw a big circle and stretch it on the right side—Figure 1.
Step 2:
Draw a caudal fin emerging from the body on the right side—Figure 2.
Step 3:
Draw a pouting mouth on the left side and then draw an eye with two circles, one small inside the big circle. After that, draw another tiny circle inside the smaller circle. After that, draw a curve near the eye staring from above and ending below. This curve separates the head from the rest of the body—Figure 3.
Step 4:
Draw a dorsal fin above the body in an irregular shape. Then draw a pelvic at the end of the curve drawn for head and anal fin below the body.—Figure 4.
Step 5:
Draw lines in the dorsal and caudal fins, as shown in figure 5.
Step 6:
Use yellow and pink colors to fill the fish, as shown in figure 6.
Here you have a cute fish drawing.
Goldfish Drawing | Step By Step
Step 1:
Draw a semi-circular shape to make the face of the fish. Draw both eyes in the shape of many circles of different sizes inside each other—Figure 1.
Step 2:
Draw the open mouth of the happy goldfish by using two parallel lines below the eyes. Draw two moon-like structures on the left side of each eye—Figure 2.
Step 3:
After completing the goldfish’s face, extend the above and below lines rightward and join them at the end in a shape of bend—Figure 3.
Step 4:
Draw the dorsal fin of goldfish in an irregular shape as drawn above. Then Draw a tail fin in the shape of a wide flapper. After that, draw parallel lines inside both fins, as shown in figure 4.
Step 5:
Draw a pelvic fin behind the head of the goldfish. You have completed the shape of the goldfish—Figure 5.
Step 6:
In this final step, use golden color on the whole body of the goldfish and white color on the line separating head and body. Then use brown color to enhance body textures—Figure 6.
Draw a cup with one line and an inverted shape, just like a bit leftward above it. Draw a line in the shape of the curve to separate the head from the body—Figure 1.
Step 2:
On the left side, draw a circle to represent an eye. Then, make a subterminal mouth by drawing two parallel curves, one of them half of the other. Join the half curve with the bigger curve. After that, draw lines for pelvic fins. Extend the lines on the right side in a narrow shape, then bend them upward, as shown in figure 2.
Step 3:
Draw the remaining parallel lines for the mouth, fins against the lines drawn in the previous step. Draw anal fin below on the right side of the fish—Figure 3.
Step 4:
Draw more lines in all the fins. Then start drawing small scales in the shape of small bends joined together in columns—Figure 4.
Step 5:
Draw scales all over the fish’s body with the technique used in the previous step—Figure 5.
Step 6:
In the final step, you can color the fish with colors of your choice. But as we have made it simple by using only dark and light grey colors—Figure 6.
